History

Today, BELVI is an established, modern, competitive and developing company with experience and style that each of our customers appreciates. We at BELVI intend to continue what we have created, following our principles and priorities guided by the dynamic development of new technologies. Success is an incentive for us to expand our market share, both nationally and internationally.

In 2022, BELVI received chamber of builders  an award from the Chamber of Builders in Bulgaria: BEST BUILDER of energy infrastructure for the Blagoevgrad region.

In relation with the introduced new rules for the protection and management  of personal data, BELVI is certified according to the international standards for the management of information security – ISO 27001.

BELVI is celebrating its 25th anniversary. A quarter of a century during which it can boast of numerous completed projects, expansion of other activities, modernization of resources and continuation of professionalism to the next generation.

At the end of the year, BELVI helped publishing the book “Contemporary Aspects of the Design of Power Lines” authored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Vasil Zahariev. The book reflects the trends in the development of overhead and cable power lines in recent years.

In 2017 BELVI was given an award by the Bulgarian Construction Chamber.
BELVI was then given a bronze award in the annual ranking of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber for achieved by medium-sized enterprise good results in 2016 regarding the completed construction sites from the energy infrastructure.

In 2016 BELVI opened a renovated office in the town of Blagoevgrad which had an integrated system for automation of lighting and air conditioning for reaching high energy efficiency. This contributes to the comfort and the better working ability to work of our employees.

In 2015 for a second consecutive year BELVI was given an award by the Bulgarian Construction Chamber.

In 2014 BELVI finished the construction of the new production and warehouse base, as well as the administrative building.
During the same year BELVI was given two awards by the Bulgarian Construction Chamber.
BELVI was then given a bronze award in the annual ranking of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber for achieved by medium-sized enterprise good results in 2013 regarding the completed construction sites from the energy infrastructure.

In 2012 BELVI started the construction of a new and modern production and warehouse base /in the place of the old one in the village of Zelen dol/ complying with all standards and requirements of the working conditions. This investment gave new opportunities for improving the quality and effectiveness of the work of the company.

Over the years because of the fast, independent and flexible fulfillment of its projects BELVI has started to produce different metal products used in the energetics and the infrastructure.
In 2011 BELVI was approved to be financed by the European funds and programs for the buying of machines for processing sheet and profile steel of leading Bulgarian and world manufacturers such as: TRUMPF – Germany, ALFRA – Germany, FANUC – Japan, KEMPPI – Finland, PodemCrane – Bulgaria, EMI – Bulgaria, CoatTech – Bulgaria.

In 2010 BELVI renewed some of its machines, as it bought a platform lorry with crane, all-terrain lorry with crane, haulage truck with platform, cherry picker, lightweight and passenger minibuses, containers for temporary settlement, a set of machines for pulling out of conductor elements under mechanical stress.

In 2009 BELVI became a member of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber in separate groups with the respective for them categories. These certificates rank BELVI among the leading Bulgarian companies in the field of energetics.
During the same year BELVI was approved and funded by the European funds and programs for training and improving the qualification of its employees. This program helps us to attract young and ambitious people.

In 2008 BELVI increased the number of the carried out by it activities, as it opened a specialized shop in the town of Blagoevgrad for trading with cables and conductor elements, electrical materials, cable fittings, electrical equipment, lighting systems, etc.

In 2005 BELVI became a member of the Bulgarian Branch Chamber of Power Engineers.
During the following years from 2005 to 2007 BELVI renovated a great part of its mechanization, as it bought with its own finances combined excavators, mini excavators, cherry pickers, cars, lightweight and passenger minibuses. These investments help the company to fulfill its projects faster, easier and more professionally.

In 2004 in order to improve its work, BELVI was certified under the international standards for quality of work in compliance with EN ISO 9001:2000, for environment protection in compliance with ISO 14001:2004 and for health and safety at work in compliance with BSI-OHSAS 18001:1999 which allows the company to also work on international projects.

In 2002 BELVI was reorganized into a limited liability company. With the gained after its establishment and over the years experience the company has showed that it can be a company with greater responsibility in respect of its clients.
BELVI became a member of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Bulgarian Construction Chamber.

In 1998 BELVI bought its own garage and warehouse base in the village of Zelen dol, municipality of Blagoevgrad. This investment evidences for the gradual development and aspiration of the company for greater goals.

BELVI is a family company established in 1994 in the town of Blagoevgrad as a sole proprietor the activity of which is connected with the construction of cable and overhead lines and power substations.
